The Foundation’s logo was created to personify Billy’s incredible journey.
—The running shoe represents Billy’s avid love of running. He ran everywhere, wherever he could, and even as a child would say to his parents, “Running clears my mind.”
—When Billy’s illness was progressing, and his activity became restricted, he adopted as his personal motto, “It’s All Good.” He would often say this during his most difficult days, almost as a reminder to us to keep our focus and concentrate on the blessings in our lives instead of our heartache.
—The angel wings were the final enhancement to the logo’s design; they are there to remind us that Billy’s place is now in heaven. Billy has become our guardian angel; he watches over us all. |
